This joint development in the 'Garden of Eden' area in the centre of Cambridge saw the total refurbishment of a redundant factory to provide a range of different spaces for office and IT use. Careful insertion of new-build around a sunny central courtyard with raised pond provides the entrance and focus for the varied workplace community.

Maintaining mixed development in the heart of Cambridge is a challenge and this scheme shows how such a development can be achieved sensitively while preserving the historic grain of the urban fabric.
