Phase I Butts Farm was a listed thatched farmhouse, initially modernised in the 1960s, with adjacent barns, pigsties and a grassed over farmyard. 

The first phase of modernisation involved converting the barn into a yoga studio and the pigsties into a guest annexe with a hot tub.
