31 Brookfields is an 11-unit apartment block submitted for planning permission in April 2007. It is designed as a gateway building at the corner of the east end of Mill Road and Perne Road in Cambridge. By stepping up and careful disposition of the apartments the scale of the surrounding properties is respected while at the same time making a distinctive statement in what is currently a sparse architectural environment on the Cambridge ring road.

With a mixture of studio and one bed apartments its orientation has been carefully considered to minimize the effect of noise from the busy junction, avoid overlooking, and maximize the benefit of the south easterly aspect.
