Built in two phases involving the complete modernisation and refurbishment of a farmhouse and the construction of a new orangery and yoga hall.
The hall had to be large enough to allow for the teaching of twenty students with their yoga mats. Green oak trusses support a sloping skylight against the higher back wall and large sliding glass doors in oak frames allow direct connection with the landscaped garden, which includes a water course culminating in a large pond by a bank of pebbles. Underfloor heating is provided by solar panels.
The earlier phase (bottom picture) converted a barn which can also be used as a yoga studio and has a hot tub in an adjoining room for relaxation.
