Spalding Hostel is situated in the centre of Cambridge, on Peas Hill, behind the Arts Theatre. Freeland Rees Roberts were appointed to refurbish and convert a mixture of listed medieval, Victorian and 1930s buildings, and design a new building. The hostel now provides facilities for graduates, including 50 bedsitting rooms, ancillary facilities and a resident warden’s flat.
