Emma Marsden

Director

Emma studied architecture at the University of Nottingham. She spent time working in Chile and London before joining Freeland Rees Roberts Architects in 2000.

Since then, she has gained a wide range of experience working on listed buildings, churches and domestic projects, including the relocation of Temple Bar to Paternoster Square, internal alterations to private rooms at Burghley House, refurbishment projects for Cambridge and Oxford colleges, and alterations to various listed residential properties. She has co-written conservation management plans for King’s College Chapel and Norwich Cathedral, and heritage statements for a number of heritage buildings including Clare College, Cambridge, and the Chestnut and Stable Courts at Burghley House. She has recently completed the first phase of major refurbishment project for Clare College.

Emma was made a Director in 2021.
