Midsummer Limes granted planning permission

Planning permission has been granted for our proposal to demolish and replace a private dwelling overlooking Midsummer Common. In order to provide a good size family home, it was decided that demolition of the existing house would be the sensible approach. The project has been carefully designed to complement and enhance its key setting on the edge of one of Cambridge’s most popular public commons. The house will sit between a row of six terraced cottages and the former NHS site redevelopment. Architecturally, the building will be of a very contextual design, picking up on the form, materials and detailing of the Brunswick Cottages.
