Refurbished pool makes a splash!

A redundant outdoor pool in the grounds of a Grade I listed house in Warwickshire has been brought back into use through a careful refubishment designed by Freeland Rees Roberts Architects. An adjacent outbuilding has been repaired and altered to provide changing facilities, a WC, a sauna, steam room and shower to support the newly refurbished pool.

Complex issues relating to drainage, pool water treatment and neutralisation had to be overcome as the site has no connection to mains drainage and no mains water supply. Sustainable heating provided by an air source heat pump will enable the new facilities to be enjoyed for the majority of the year. Read more here.
