Edyta Jackiewicz

BSc Eng MSt(Cantab)

Edyta trained at the Silesian University of Technology in Poland, graduating with an engineering degree accredited for IEng by the European Federation of National Engineering Associations. A Civil Engineer by training, Edyta has also wide experience in architectural and engineering design, and enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams across a broad range of sectors throughout the UK and Poland. Continued interest in research led Edyta to complete the IDBE (Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment) Master’s course at Cambridge University.

Prior to joining Freeland Rees Roberts, Edyta worked in Poland on infrastructure projects founded by the EU (PHARE Tender) including bridge construction and road viaducts, before moving to CAR (Cambridge Architecture Research), where she worked on building conversions for residential and office use, and Conservation Management Plans for various listed buildings.

Recent projects with Freeland Rees Roberts include the Master’s Lodge at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, the Goodhart Building at University College, Oxford and alterations at Worcester College, Oxford, as well as church repairs and residential alterations.
