Emma Marsden

Emma studied architecture at the University of Nottingham. She spent time working in Chile and London before joining Freeland Rees Roberts Architects in 2000.

Since then, she has gained a wide range of experience working on listed buildings, churches and domestic projects, including the relocation of Temple Bar to Paternoster Square, internal alterations to private rooms at Burghley House, new conference and visitor facilities at Layer Marney Tower, and various residential properties. She has co-written conservation management plans for King’s College Chapel and Norwich Cathedral. She has recently completed the first phase of major refurbishment project for Clare College in Cambridge.

Emma was made an Associate in November 2017.
