Oliver Cooper

MA(Hons) DipArch MSc RIBA

Oliver is a specialist in low energy buildings and ecological refurbishment.  He studied architecture at the University of Edinburgh and completed his masters at Oxford Brookes University, where he specialised in sustainable building performance and design. His thesis was on the energy efficient retrofit of Victorian terraced houses and he has subsequently worked on a number of carbon emission cutting renovations of solid-walled properties.

He holds a Certificate in Hygrothermal Risk Assessment from the Technical University of Dublin and is a Certified European Passivhaus Designer. Oliver is a member of the AECB and a passionate advocate for energy efficient construction.

Before joining Freeland Rees Roberts, Oliver worked on large commercial projects with Allies and Morrison Architects and the conservation of listed churches with Archimage Architects.  He joined Freeland Rees Roberts in January 2014 and completed qualification as an Architect at the University of Cambridge in 2016.
